No one in the AL scares me.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you said this last year too? Unfortunately you finished in 2nd place-bummer.
The one team I am scared of is going to be the Rangers or the Rays if they get their pitching fixed otherwise the Yankees are collapsing and the Giants can take any pitching staff in the majors, and that includes the Phillies.

Here is a question for everyone, who would you rather have:

Player A: 33 Starts, 230.1 innings, 2.42 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 213 K, 20 wins

Player B: 33 Starts, 250.1 innings, 2.44 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 219 K, 21 wins

To assume Halladay has the Cy locked up is a bit presumtuous, in my opinion. I say he win's it, but wouldn't say he has it locked up.

I am taking Player B since he has 20 more innings as well as 6 more Ks and 1 more win. Mainly for the 20 more innings.

Player A: 5 CG, 2 SO, 3.8 K/BB, 4 starts less than 6 innings

Player B: 8 CG, 3 SO, 7.3 BB/K, Perfect game, 1 start less than 6 innings

You can throw away the key.

How long has Roy been in the league? I'll bet you that by the time Lincecum has the same amount of years his numbers will be better.

Roy's not doing bonghits between starts

can't wait to start the chant at The Park:

POT-HEAD POT-HEAD

Of course, I doubt the Giants will make the playoffs anyway ;-)

Yeah I guess that makes a big difference. I'm glad you got such a kick out of a typo. :)

Doc is still out ahead regardless of his 1400+ walks.

You really have to see Roy through the season to appreciate him. I know it's a cliche but he would trade the Cy Young to get that WS ring.

Now if he does win it...he would join a select few to win the award in both leagues. Gaylord Perry and Pedro are the only ones I can think of off hand.

The best (or worst?) part of your trolling is that kdailey bites everytime. You two are quite a pair.

I'm proud of Roy, he's a great guy and a heck of a pitcher. Now we gotta help get him that ring...
