How many of these are just tracking bids knowing it will go for more :?

I think at that price it could be that some are putting our bids with the thought process that if by some chance they'd win it at that price they'd be happy, but assuming that they won't. I've seen too many cards go for less than I thought they would and therefore do this every now and then on cards that I assume are out of my league.
