Cammi scored a goal last night in his first game back with Calgary, but the Flames end up losing to the Kings 4-1. It was the Flames first loss at home in 9 games. Their last loss at home was mid-November.

I love it that Cammi is wearing #93.

I didn't catch the entire interview with hgim about chossing the number, but he did say he was a big Doug Gilmour fan when he was younger (although Gilmour wore 39 in Calgary)

Penguins defenseman Kris Letang will return to practice today. Letang has been out of the lineup since November 26. Letang was hit by Montreal's Max Pacioretty and suffered a broken nose. he went to the locker room to have his nose reset and returned in OT to score the game winning goal. however he was diagnosed with a concussion a few days later.

Sidney Crosby stayed in Florida to meet with Dr. Ted Carrick. Carrick specializes in chiropractic neurology and Sid believes he was influential in his return from a concussion earlier this season. he will spend most of the week meeting with Dr. Carrick. Sid is still suffering from balance and and motion problems.

I sure hope this specialist can get Sid on the ice for good. He is missed.

Preds are playing their best hockey of the year. Hopefully, they aren't peaking! :D

NHL looking at Winter Classic in Michigan's Big House
Story Highlights
The NHL is talking to the University of Michigan about using its stadium
Detroit would play Toronto there in the 2013 Winter Classic on January 1
Michigan Stadium holds 110,000 for football and has hosted hockey games

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon says the school and the NHL are discussing bringing the Winter Classic to Michigan Stadium.
Brandon said conversations about the annual showcase game outdoors were continuing Wednesday amid reports that the Detroit Red Wings would play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Jan. 1, 2013, at the Big House, which holds 110,000 on football game days.
The NHL said it had nothing to announce about the 2013 game.
Buffalo, Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia have hosted the event, though the crowd for a Michigan Stadium game would likely be the biggest: Michigan and Michigan State attracted a Guinness World Record 104,173 people for a hockey game on Dec. 11, 2010.

Much better performance by the Bruins tonight. Big games coming up with the Rangers at home Saturday afternoon, then off to Philadelphia Sunday. Should be a great weekend.

The Flames and Kings skated to their 4th straight 2-1 game, this time the Flames winning in the shootout.
Iggy scored his 18th of the season. Need Tanguay and Glencross back from injury and need Cammy to light it up.

the Penguins beat the Rangers 4-1. Fleury made 31 saves, Malkin had 2 goals including an empty netter to seal the victory, Letang played the most minutes on the team (so much for easing back into the lineup) and Richard Park scored the eventual game winner early in the 3rd Period.

the Habs come to the CONSOL Energy Center tonight to take on the Pens.
