For me, anything beyond normal transit is too far.
I have been lucky to just about always have a LCS within ~15 minutes from home and never really take a special trip to go just there, but rather stop in when I am already passing close by. Also, there is a local community center that has consistently had card shows since the late 1980's that is also within 15 minutes of normal transit. I simply would never drive more than 30 minutes to go to a card show or store.
