Another question - what's on the back? Any statistics?

Nope... Generic backs...

We have almost no time in order to get ALL ON CARD and release 1-2 months before our competitors...

How do these cards compare to the Donruss Crusades in:

1. Clarity of the photos;
2. Quality of the card stock and surface;
3. Etching;
4. Refractor finish?

The overall design looks about identical, so I am curious how the quality of the card itself compares otherwise. Thus far I am of the opinion that Leaf products are a step forward from the totally unrelated Razor products that came out a few years ago, but still a notch below Topps, UD, and Panini in terms of the quality of the printing and design itself. To Brian's credit, his quality control appears to be generally superior to that of the other companies regarding centering, surface scratches; etc.

Thanks... On design, that is obviously subjective....

On printing, Topps, Panini and Leaf all use the same printer so I dont believe "print quality" is an issue.. BG

Anyone gotten shipping info from Blowout?

They just told me they wouldn't be shipping until the release date, maybe a day earlier. I hope this means that its when they get it, and they won't wait until the original release date

Was BO cheaper than AIC? He shipped today.

I ordered after BG announced that there would be 10 autos and that production was cut by 20% so it was really late in the process, and AIC was sold out at that time.

Well ignore my earlier comments. In the last 2 minutes I just received the tracking number, :lol:

Something I wasn't aware of, until Jim just told me - each Valiant case is serialized out of 320 made.

It's an Orange/25. Didn't pull it, either.

Looks like Jim's pulled a lot of black /5s through 4 cases, but no red 1/1s and no Ichiros......

Busted my 2 cases, no ichiro but pretty happy overall. Had a 1/1 plate auto, a 1/1 red prismatic auto, and a black auto #/5 per case

Also pulled a bunch of the SSP's and a couple silver ink auto's, and it is amazing looking in person!
