Carlos Triunfel, Adam Moore, J.A. Happ, and Michael Taylor are the four rumored players to be going to the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jay orginally asked for Triunfel, Moore, Saunders and Aumont when it was Blue Jays & Mariners discussing trade.

You really think the Phillies gave up the best prospect? The Mariners didn't get Lee for free you know. I'll be willing to bet they gave up more prospects to the Blue Jays than the Phillies did.

Absolutely perfect from my perspective as a sox fan. Keep Halladay out of the AL east and away from the Yanks, and take Lackey down within a matter of hours.

AND shows that SEA is a true player, meaning that Bay has a chance of signing there, shipping the Sox the 20th.

You an have all the pitching you want, but Youkilis and Ortiz won't carry the lineup.

The sox better hope Bay doesn't sign elsewhere, as Holliday want's more than Bay.

No. It will be Taylor or Brown and a mid-level guy and 2 others (not Happ, Drabek) and then 2 guys from SEA (Morrow and some1 else)

What amazes me is how deep the Phil's farm system was to pull off so many deals as of late. Seems like they've stripmined their farm system, but it's definitely paying dividends.

To still have Brown, Drabek, and Happ at this point still boggles my mind.

Why would they need to do more than that to get Halladay? I guess if they kept some of the prospects from Seattle they'd need to give up more, but it kind of defeats the purpose. I don't think Drabek is going anywhere regardless.

Maybe the Phillies should have just traded for Halladay in the first place. They are probably giving up more in total now then if they would have 5 months ago.

Maybe the Phillies should have just traded for Halladay in the first place. They are probably giving up more in total now then if they would have 5 months ago.

Think of it this way: the Phil's still got the rental use out of Lee. How many t-shirts, jerseys, or tickets did Lee sell for Philly? They definitely got a great bang for their buck. Now, if they get Halladay, they get to reload the hype machine and get people to open their wallets all over again.
