I'd agree with this, though I'm sure Silva will get some starts only due to his contract.

That #5 spot will actually probably go Silva/French/Fister. I wouldnt' be shocked if Fister actually started 2010 in Triple-A, only cause they have an over abundance of starters.

Hell, we may see one or two traded between now and then for a bat.

Actually, I think whoever the two unnamed M's prospects are, are going to Philly. It breaks down like this:

Aumont, Two Other M's Prospects for Lee
Aumont, Taylor, D'Arnaud, One Additional Philly Prospect for Halladay

Who those two additional M's Prospects are is unknown. A lot of rumors flying on Saunders, Morrow, Moore, Trunifel...

No way the Jays are getting all those guys. Taylor, Aumont, D'Arnaud and maybe one more. I'd be shocked (and thrilled) if another significant piece came this way.

I doubt the Jays are sending any money.

The deal that the Phillies/Halladay make will probably nullify whatever this years deal is.

As for why the Phillies get prospects, you have to look at it as two separate trades as I noted in an earlier post.

Considering the downright ****-crap-i-ness of the Jays system, any prospect included goes straight to the top.

As long as J.A. Happ isn't included in this trade, I'll be Happy. There's no way in hell that he should be the centerpiece of any trade, and it drives me nuts.

The jays continually screw their fans over with awful trades :/

Saunders and Aumont are both Canucks, right?> Can we just have them both? Sanders has underachieved pretty epically. Same with Nick Weiglarz.. If only Cleveland had shipped him over to Philly too. We could've just gotten every Canadian out there.
