Rich Harden Sweet Spot auto, Topps Now Turn Back the Clock Catfish Hunter, and I needed an Elvis Andrus auto since he's now on the A's so I figured I may as well get a good one.

Huge Topps Black pickup, the 2009 Frank Thomas 15/58. Still 2 away from that team set. A couple of McGwires including 1997 Leaf Dress for Success 0854/3500. And a couple of '00s parallels I needed, the Mulder is 31/50.
Team heroes showdown parallels plague my Wakefield collection, I still need two or three...near impossible finds.
LOVE the long distance connection! I thought those were awesome when they came out and I still love em! That's a great 90s card!!

That is an awesome piece, dripping with history, congrats!!

Thank you! It's definitely a centerpiece of my collection. Took years to find and acquire.

Holy Cow @Topnotchsy !!!

As we have discussed before I am a Nashua native and that’s the holy grail of Nashua Baseball memorabilia! Blown away! Congrats on an amazing amazing find!

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

I remember you saying you are from Nashua. My Grandmother grew up in Berlin, NH (80+ years ago), so not that far away.

To me, the Newcombe together with this one really captures the 1946 Integration story. Campy and Newk were the first to Integrate for a team in the US, since Jackie and John Wright were up in Montreal.

Yeah I know I need quite a few Team Heroes parallels, but since they are pretty boring cards from a pretty boring set I'm not sure if I haven't bought them out of apathy or because they simply aren't available. I know I still need the 2004 Silver Xavier Nady and I go pretty hard after his cards so it must be a pretty difficult one to find.

Today's arrivals:

Big time '90s insert with the 1999 Molten Metal Fusion Titanium Grieve 23/50. Still need the Eric Chavez from the set but happy to at least have this one. The 2020 Stadium Club Blue Zito is 43/50, and there's also a 2020 Topps Black Mark Canha. The Max Stassi 2009 auto leaves me a single card away from having every A's Refractor (just the regular Refractors, not color or x-fractors) from the first 20 years of Bowman Chrome, 1997-2016. Just missing a common from 2000 that I can't quite locate.

Manny Lee for my signed '88 Topps set. The 2008 Sterling Reggie leaves me two Reggies short of a team set. And the 2021 Definitive Patch 12/15 Mark Canha was a good clue to me that the card market is at least cooling slightly...less than $10 shipped for a low number nice patch card from a current year set, even if it's not a great player, just didn't seem like it was happening a couple months ago.

T205 Jimmy Dygert. 5 more needed for the team set, 4 commons and one of the Eddie Collins variations.

This is a big 8.5"x11" sheet Upper Deck made for people to get autographs at the 1995 Super Bowl card show. Very limited edition of 25,000. If it was multi-signed I wouldn't care about it, but since it just had a Trent Dilfer autograph all of a sudden it became a unique Dilfer item. I can't imagine too many people got Trent Dilfer's autograph and were like "That's enough, I'll call it a day." I can't recall ever seeing another one like this at least.
