There's no hotter hitter in MLB than Prince Fielder at this moment.

3-3 with his three doubles and 4 RBI's in the fifth inning after another huge game last night.

Even though he lost Phil Coke looked good in his first start. Pretty encouraging if you are a Tigers fan

The home plate umpire had the biggest strike zone I have ever seen a ML umpire have. Jackson and Cabrera struck out on pitches in the first inning that were at least 6 inches off the plate. I thought Maddux was the only guy that got that kind of a strike zone. You know the strike zone is big when Bruce Chen has 7 strikeouts in 6 innings.

The Tigers have too many 5 or 6 inning starters - Coke, Porcello and Penny. No one has stepped up to fill in the 6th and 7th inning.

Chris Narveson's last two starts:

4/4/2011 6.0IP 3H 0R 0ER 3BB 5K
4/9/2011 7.0IP 6H 0R 0ER 1BB 9K

ERA: 0.00

I'd say that's pretty freaking good for the Brewers fifth starter.

GIO!!!

No runs allowed in 6 IP. His ERA is now .69. The A's won 1-0. And other than a bump or two, the A's starting pitching has been unreal. Too bad they can't score...

Yeah, he's in the zone tonight... 9 Ks through 6IP... only 3 hits for the Mariners.

Matt Cain gives up his first earned run since October 1st. A walk 2 ground outs and then a wild pitch allowed the run to score.

Matt Kemp stole his third base of the game to go along with two hits, Hiroki Kuroda has allowed one hit through six IP, and Andre Ethier stuck one in the bandbox in right field.

Tejada with a shot to deep left center.... 2 fielders go for it... I think it threw Rasmus off... hit his glove but he dropped it...

Giants win 3-2
