what are all the Leaf haters gonna say when he gets Barkley on some on card autos!

"why is my card damaged by water and food stains"
"why is my card all beat up and corners bent"
"why is my card autograph smudged"

there will be plenty to say.........

I like Leaf and Brian.

But to buy a product advertised as Cut Autos and receive sticker autos is not good.

He bought a pack labeled Cuts. Not Stickers.

Stickers and cuts are 99.44% the same thing... as they are both affixed to a card. The difference between the two is too small to get worked up about.

Heck Leaf could apply a sticker to a cut of paper and glue the cut of paper to the card.

Was Brian's inbox full? When I see threads like these, I feel like people are trying to force him into giving them free stuff.

do you feel the same way when someone calls out topps? they have a rep on the boards who is more behind the scenes but helps members as well.

now i get the point of your post but in my opinion if the mouthpiece of a company can come and pimp his product all the while telling everyone how well the company listens they are going to get called out on the negatives... in the past bg has been public in answering questions and solving problems... which will lead to more threads where an unhappy customer puts it out there. not because they want want want but because they have seen a model which gets answers or help.

I don't feel the same way about when people call out Topps, Because Brian has A ton more PULL, and is the damn owner. The Topps rep can and will only do so much. I reached out to him about my 8 BRUTAL BCDP cases and didn't even get a freaking response. Different stories. Brian has always tried to make things right with people on these boards and has been extremely generous to many of us. Topps rep, ehhhhhhh

skrip

i've actually had the exact opposite experience with him. the two times i have had issues he has responded quickly and been more than helpful. once was about a faked auto bowman chrome adrian peterson and the other about a damaged card from the redemption center. i cannot speak about bad cases nor product insertion.

the assumption that ty hope was doing this for product was off mark.

I'm sorry, but stickers and "cuts" aren't even close to the same thing.

Probably one of the dumbest thing you have ever posted. I have a read a few of your posts, so that is saying something. Absolutely ridiculous.....If someone offered you a cut Babe Ruth auto....only to find out it is a sticker...you would be PISSED!!!

You're not saying anything meaningful here as usual.

Tell me the difference between the two.

According to you.... .66%

If I really have to explain what the OP explained to begin with to you...I am just wasting my own time. All I have to say is there is a difference between a sticker and a cut, and it is NOT .66%.

When you decide to stop trolling, and want to have a serious conversation and you want to post nonasinine comments, I would be more than willing to converse with you. Otherwise, dont reply.

Again, and not surprising, you're not saying anything.

Hint: The .66% difference is due to glue being applied prior-application instead of post-application.

You really need the different between a cut autograph and a sticker autograph explained to you?

You are trying to base your arguement on the application of both to a card. Not what they both are.

Re: Seriously Leaf... (calling BG) pic added

Sticker Auto- Person signed on a sticker. It's sticky. Done is mass amounts and can be stored and used on numerous products, sold to other companies etc.

Cut auto- A auto that was cut up and put in a card. Usually autos bought on the open market and usually large amounts are hard to find. Unlike signed stickers. Not a small scrap that was signed nor a sticker. But a existing Auto that was cut. USA autos signed on white paper and inserted in the card are not cuts. As they were signed on the paper for that product. People think of cut autos as a auto that was previously signed and then cut to fit the card. But I see how this line is getting blurred as Razor is not the 1st to do this. I remember about a year ago or so seeing a "cut" auto that was a sticker and remember posting about it and not many said much.

Those are the definitions in my opinion. "Cut" signatures should be able to keep it's definition. Seems like everyday this hobby gets looser standards and we continue to accept it. I agree with the OP 100%

Wow. That's one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. A "cut" signature is an autograph that was cut from some document, whether it be a check, auto'd photo, or anything else. There is a uniqueness about them because most are one-of-a-kind depending on what they were cut from, and they often had a real world use. A sticker auto is where a company, looking to cut corners, mails an athlete dozens of pages of glorified mailing labels and they sign a hundred or a thousand and mail them beack to the company. They're all exactly the same and have no character or uniqueness. Sticker auto's are garbage PERIOD, ESPECIALLY when pawned off as a "cut auto" by a company being lazy and, in my opinion, completely dishonest.

it'd be no different if you were buying a product called "on card autos!" and received a cut or sticker auto inside of it... I'd be pissed as well.

a cut and a sticker auto are completely different.

I <3 THIS THREAD!!!

Ty, why did you buy this product? That's what I don't get. It was made by Leaf, and every time you buy a Leaf product something goes wrong. Fool me once, shame shame, fool me twice, shame on Brian, c'mon Ty how many times you going to let him fool you?

Stop buying Leaf!! The thing I imagine was running through your head when you were at the shop... "Is it worth $90 to have a new reason to complain about Leaf? YEP!"

You and Leaf don't suit each other man, leave it alone. I have lots of things like that. Applebee's for example. I'll go there, and everybody's food will be perfect, but my food, undoubtedly and without fail, will be messed up. After like 6 times I gave up. Applebee's is fine for other people, I'm sure. I just refuse to pay more money just to have more things to complain about. And you should quit paying Leaf for reasons to complain. I'm sorry brother. I'm sure you've had some good experiences... I watched Mark McGwire hit #62 there. The good times just aren't worth the bad, when you have 6 bad experiences and 1 good one.

There are plenty of examples in the hobby where players were contracted to sign "cuts" instead of signing "stickers". Off-hand DLP had players sign fake checks and placed them on cards.

Any way one looks at it, someone signed something that was later affixed to a card. Big deal, they're all the same.

Absolutely ridiculous. That's just like saying a house and an apartment are the same because people live in both of them. Do you not understand the concept of "definitions"? Yes, cuts and stickers have similarities, but they aren't the same and it's just silly that you keep pointing out things they have in common while ignoring the blatantly obvious differences
