Looks like the 2023 Finest Steve Garvey 1/1 is up on eBay now. The price seems pretty ridiculous though. The "buy it now" has got to be at least $1,000 higher than what it should be, I'm guessing.


The triple signature is awesome.Todays Dodger additions make a nice pair.
Garvey /5 with bonus Bench and Schmidt signatures. I like this kind of card, because I collect all sorts of autographs, but it doesn't only rely on Garvey's popularity, or lack thereof.

I bought another Pujols Dodgers auto. The guy but up Ruthian/Aaron/Mays stats, so I don't feel like this is a bad choice, especially at what felt like a bargain.

That is a great rule. I think you are right...in the once or twice it backfires, you could have paid for the expensive auto several times over probably.My rule on new players: If their auto costs more than Bagwell or Biggio's, I'm not paying it. The odds they turn out better than either of them is almost zero.
