It wasn't handled in the best of ways, but the seller was worse. Technically with ebay, I guess you were right. I don't feel bad for the seller at all though.

I would have done the same damn thing. With that said block me also for having the same opinion.

i think im having a harder time with you backing him and now saying you'd do the same in which yes, ill def. add to my list
seriously, i dont care that the seller's a pyscho or whatnot. from what i've read, seller seemed to have gotten what he deserved but that's another point.
my point being, look at the scan of the card from the auction. now read the description of the condition of the card (fair to good). combine both. op got that exact card.
this is from psa
GOOD 2: Good.
A PSA Good 2 card's corners show accelerated rounding and surface wear is starting to become obvious. A good card may have scratching, scuffing, light staining, or chipping of enamel on obverse. There may be several creases. Original gloss may be completely absent. Card may show considerable discoloration. Centering must be 90/10 or better on the front and back.
FR 1.5: Fair.
A PSA Fair 1.5 card's corners will show extreme wear, possibly affecting framing of the picture. The surface of the card will show advanced stages of wear, including scuffing, scratching, pitting, chipping and staining. The picture will possibly be quite out-of-register and the borders may have become brown and dirty. The card may have one or more heavy creases. In order to achieve a Fair grade, a card must be fully intact. Even though the card may be heavily worn, it cannot achieve this grade if it is missing solid pieces of the card as a result of a major tear, etc. This would include damage such as the removal of the back layer of the card or an entire corner. The centering must be approximately 90/10 or better on the front and back.
there's a scan and a clear description on the auction and the seller pays for it because of this fool's reasoning? not to mention that it's 99 cents?
op, did you specifically not say it was somewhat of a steal on a rare boxing card that you won a few days ago? i tried looking but you deleted it.
so everything went your way it seems where pretty much anybody's would've been happy to have obtained a card for the price of 2 newspapers
now, considering that the seller knew you dicked his ratings. you said less than 5. you gave a 1, right? putting up 4, 3 doesn't make too much dent. you had to go there and put the 1 just to spite the guy probably.

He actually told me he goes off of Beckett's standards not PSA's.
Poor 1
Centering: 100/0 or offcut on front or back. Heavy diamond cutting is allowed.
Corners: Heavily rounded or heavily notched with noticeable layering.
Edges: Destructive chipping, notching or layering.
Surface: Severe print spots. Heavy creases. Severe color or focus imperfections. Heavy border discoloration. Severe stains. No original gloss. Heavy scuffing or a severe tear.
I'm not sure how rare it is, but it is a 1910 Mecca, where the guy had it labeled as a 1938 Goudey.
I actually gave him a 3 on his DSR.

OP, I am not sure why you feel the need to keep bringing this up but I love watching it!
BunchOBull said:My only question is (if it has been asked, please ignore me)...what if the description said something like:
"Please examine the pictures to determine the item's condition and bid accordingly. If you have any specific questions about this item's condition, feel free to ask."
Would the seller be negligent? Would the seller deserve less than 5 stars?
