Any of you Sig collectors ever see one of these OR is it possible to take off the blue sharpie?

Pretty funny that this card sold for more than the ones with Gwynn's signature on them! ::facepalm::
Ehhh...I don't know Dave. If the other 249 are dual signed and this is the only one of its kind, then I can see it going higher than the others.
Yeah you're right, error cards do usually get some attention. Now that you mention it, the seller probably could have done better if they had done a straight auction. Who knows. The seller is in Oklahoma too. I coulda driven my horse and wagon over to pick it up  Ok stupid joke.
I didn't know you were Amish Dave. What's that like?? You should be churnin' butter right now or raising a barn instead of wasting time on the computer machine.
 It's probably best not to continue this joke, so I'll just go feed the chickens now. lol

Yeah, whoever got the Gwynn/Jeter error card got a nice deal. Pretty safe to say it's only one like it.

Wonder if the Lou got sold in off ebay deal?
I had emailed the seller asking if he was taking offers and he said yes. I did not make one, so I would imagine someone did and he accepted it.

That's too bad Dave. That would have been another sweet one to peel and get signed IP. :(

Would have been a nice card for your 10th platinum.

Yeah it would have been, I just don't have the money to be paying for any cards twice right now. Got some bigger fish to fry ;)

Since it was a sticker auto, I'd probably have pealed the sticker like I did the Musial 1/1. The I'd have to track down where Brock is signing, ship it, pay to have him sign it and ship back. That part might not cost as much as the ebay auction (which btw the card sold for between 75-100) but I don't know how much Brock charges to sign. That was fun one time (since it worked out) but I don't want to spend the extra $. The platinum's are just icing on the cake to me anyway. Whatever I can find that I REALLY want I will go for, but not all of them.

Well folks, never say NEVER!!! Long story short, this card was a redemption back in the day. I did a redemption for it and it got replaced, and UD told me it was not produced. So to this day I have never seen one and believed it to not exist.

Well early this morning it shows up out of the blue with a $60 BIN:

It appears legit from the scan. That would be really cool. Gives me hope that some of these other cards I've never seen or have heard were not produced do indeed exist somewhere.

miggy- just noticed in my Beckett from Aug 2005 when Ult Sig first got listed in the price guide, the Cabrera Numbers platinum 1/1 had a recorded sale of $130. So, both the Decades and Numbers platinums have been pulled and sold at least once. So you'll have to watch ebay for them to show up again.
