Don't get me wrong, it's a nice product!

Their B-days..The card is inscribed with both dates.
brouthercard said:Keep in mind that this will be the last NBA exquisite set for a while, but you can be sure Upper Deck will be churning out an exquisite multi-sport set EVERY year that they don't have either a baseball or basketball license. And yes, expect to see Michael, Lebron, Kobe, Tiger, Sidney, Gretzky, Ovechkin in every single one of those products and in every form possible.
In addition, don't be surprised if they put out multi-sport products with other brands as well, like ultimate, sp authentic, sweet spot, etc. etc. ie, yes Upper Deck will continue to flood the market.
Those big hits look terrific, they always do.
But there are going to be a big number of $20-$30 rookie basketball autos as one of your hits, a $5-$20 base card as one of your hits, and a jersey parallel numbered to 50, and likely a rookie gold parallel of a basketball scrub as one of your hits cause panini has most of the other best hoopers in this year's class.
So even if Elway, Lebron, or Bird is your case hit, you will still lose half your money or break even on this product cracking it, minus the 30 something lucky collectors out of 2500 cases who hit a Tiger dual auto, an MJ rookie logo patch, or a triple logoman with a sweet combo on it- that's still one in 80 cases to make money off a case.
You aren't going to get close pulling Chris Paul or Larry Bird or Magic Johnson or John Stockton limited logos out of your cases as case hits- check on ebay and see how low these things go for. Heck, even if you pull a jordan logo patch, you will only break even on your case.
I really think the key will be to buy the singles. Buy that Elway Rookie logo patch for $500, heck it's expensive for an elway auto, but it's cheaper than a box!

I don't see why they wouldn't incorporate a Griffey in this product due to product exclusivity posterboy status.. Hope to find out soon...

I bet this card sells for $50,000 plus. Easily.

Are you serious???
To be honest with you, I don't think Lebron can even stand up to Jordan or Tiger - he hasn't done anything yet. He has the potential, but potential has hurt a lot of card values over the years on these multiple signature cards.
If he never wins a championship, or wins maybe one or two, he still doesn't deserve to be on the same card as Jordan or Tiger Woods as being one of the greatest in his sport of all time. That is a very risky card still in terms of an investment, and to find someone who is both a crazy fan of Lebron AND Tiger is not as easy as you think.
I'd like to argue that Lebron being on that card actually HURTS the value of that card......anyone care to debate that?
Personally I think the dual tiger/jordan patch auto card/3 or the retro jordan exquisite 23/23 will be the best hits in this product.

I got a reply from Chris Carlin about the checklist.
Still being finalized. Should be up in the next week or so.
