It costs me more to get to the stadium and back than buying the ticket.
It'll be the same this year.
You sure about that?
Yes, I'm sure about that. You see, the thing is, I live in New York and you don't.
The thing is, we all have the internet and can easily find out that the only $20 tickets are in the OF in the Upper Deck.
Anything in the lower level is $100+ and closer to $200 in the infield.
Dangit Trev...I was waiting for him to be smart enough to figure that out!!!
well were ever the ticket is i would rather be far away watching the yanks instead of up close watching the astros...[/quote:16t5w0bu]
See...there is no call for that.I never even said I wouldn't like to go to a yankees game. Why are you trying to turn this into a debate about my team.Thats pretty trollish buddy.[/quote:16t5w0bu]
no not trollish, you are just stating your point on how you dont think its fair that the yankees are spending that kind of money and im just stating my point i would rather pay more to watch the yankees instead of the astros...[/quote:16t5w0bu]
Actually I don't think its smart. Not anything else.Just not smart.
As for the astros comment. You were being a smartass.Plain and simple.[/quote:16t5w0bu]
So you would complain about this spending spree if it was the astros getting all these free agents right....You would not go to the games just based on principle right.....NOOOO STOP WHINING[/quote:16t5w0bu]
Dude...I probably wouldn't be able to afford to go to the games. Can you understand that.I certainly wouldn't be for it if I knew I was going to pay more than I already do.Maybe you just like to argue and stir up a mess.[/quote:16t5w0bu]
so you wouldn't just buy seats that cost less...or are you to good for that?[/quote:16t5w0bu]
It would depend on what they went for.But for the most part...no.I wouldn't like to go to a game where I couldn't hardly see what the hell was going on.Its not very fun for me or my wife.I wouldn't call it being too good.Lets just say I like to actually be able to watch the game without feeling like I am a million miles away.[/quote:16t5w0bu]
most stadiums i have been at, every seat you can see good....but like i said you have probably always bought the MORE EXPENSIVE seats and never tried anything else..[/quote:16t5w0bu]
Well maybe you enjoy your seats and more power to you.I personally have sat at many different places in Minute maid park. And no...not all seats are good.Actually one time we sat all the way at the top (actually against the wall pretty much) and it was July and it was hot as hell up there and it was actually pretty hard to get to and from the seat if you needed to go to the bathroom or anything.I felt I should have paid just a little more money just so it was easier on us.And it was not very fun nor very comfortable to watch the game from there.
The difference between me and you is...I can afford to pay for a seat closer to the field than you can.I don't mean you can't afford it.But I can get off cheaper buying a seat there than you can at a yankees game. You most likely sit in the seats you do because thats what you feel comfortable spending.Nothing wrong with that. But I would hazard a guess you would love to get nicer seats for cheaper prices.Or are you going to call me a liar on that one too?
