Well, technically they are real cards and patches. Just not the patches that came with those cards. In fact, I'm sure patches didn't come with 92% of those cards.

In all fairness, PSA doesn't know what was in them. The company was dead on with their identification. The problem comes when people turn into doctors to alter these things. It's not always pushing patches through the window (which could be solved with a simple plastic cover). Sometimes the faker splits the card front from back.

I do suppose its possible Adam, but I grew up about 15 mins. from Fuquay Varina,
and it is about 150 miles from Mooresville. It wouldn't suprise me though.

I would lean to believe they are associated. In the same state as Burge? Says he's been researching them for 5 years, but the majority of them come from around 150 miles away? He also posted the same video on a British site and a French site. He made this video in hopes it would convince people they are real for when he tries to list them again.

If you put aside the fact that 99% of them are likely fake, that is an incredible collection of beautiful cards. The video is annoying, though. I'm watching at work with the sound turned down and the first minute is just the camera staring at the cases. Nice editing.

You can say all you want, PSA graded them and PSA will not slab a card that has been altered in any way. PSA has graded hundreds of these and as of 11/18/2010 they have only had a handful of counterfeit '05 jumbos and that I was assured that the ones I own and were graded and authenticated by them are legitimate. You "knowledgable" collectors? need to contact PSA and ask them questions, not insult me, or beliitle my collection. Get a life guys.

Dear FCB members,

Let's say this guy dedicates an hour a month to his collection. That's a fair number for any hobby. Do you really expect him to be up to date on all the latest and greatest fakes and forgeries? People pay psa a lot of money to do the work for them.

I think it's a bit ******* to assume that everyone has perfect knowledge. If I just spent 10 Grand on Patches, I'd sure as hell claim they're real too, regardless of what you guys said.

Also, who would you trust: a well known company or some internet ****** that's probably 13 years old?

Not everyone has 20 hours a month to learn all the conspiracy theories and patch and auto fakers.

Bust PSA's nuts, not the buyer's nuts. He's bragging because he's proud and I still hope he sues effin' PSA. What a Joke.

I dont really know what to say to this....really I want to put most of the blame on PSA, however, as stated, I am also 99.9% sure that not only does this guy know they are not real, but he is more than likely the person that faked them or is working for someone who is like Burge.

The video to me is a dead giveaway to that because he is going out of his way to let everyone know that the cards are real and he has the best collection ever and PSA Graded them etc.....


I would also not be a bit surprised if at some point these will start surfacing for sale now that the video is out there and they have all been slabbed.


Also, do we really think this guy is a novice, stupid collector, when he has all of these Slabbed by PSA and is using nice Pelican Brief Cases with custom made foam inserts.....HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

Didnt even watch the video.

I would blame PSA the most.

Because while most collectors would know the difference, the PSA label now makes the other collectors who dont know (and even some who do) think they are legit

I remember seeing most of those 05 absolute jumbo fakes on ebay, so I don't think he made them himself. The millwoods and beltre are probably the only real cards in the video.
