Hope there is more success in pulling the redemption for the play-in tourney than the success of pulling USA jerseys from letterman product

only 2 pulled that I know of and/or have seen on the handful of boards that i check =
-one was a random link of a B Butler and other was a link to a Tyson Ross YouTube
Don't think any board members here won any

I thought the USA jersey idea was a great idea until other jerseys (better players too) being sold at same time

Hopefully if any board members win the play-in opportunity OR sell the boxes to an individual who won, then it makes it to one of the 4-5 boards that I check regularly

So what's the entry fee on the world series of poker, around $10g's? On heck of a redemption if you pull one and win the qualifying tournament.

In 2007 it was 5,000 according to my doyle brunson signed entry ticket :D

There are 50+ events leading up to the Main Event
the Main Event is 10K

The ticket is for the deuce to seven championship. Haven't seen the sheet but sounds like a nice product. Ivey would be a cool one to have if he is in the set. You can usually run into a lot of the guys when the WPT is in town. Seen a lot of them when I've played but never asked for an auto.

I guess I did get to play with one pro...Orel Hershiser. I sat down in a 5-10NL game at Bellagio a couple years ago and he was two to my right. Nice guy and chatted it up.

Rousso is in there. Not Ivey.

Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Chris ferguson, Gus Hansen, Dennis Phillips, Phil Hellmuth are available in 2 products from Press Pass Inc. (Press Pass fusion and Press Pass Main Event)

* 9 REDEMPTION CARDS GOOD TO PLAY IN AN EXCLUSIVE 9 SEAT ONLINE TOURNAMENT WHERE RAZOR WILL AWARD THE WINNER A WORLD SERIES OF POKER MAIN EVENT ENTRY!!!!! (THE 9TH SEAT REDEMPTION WILL BE AWARDED BY A NO PURCHASE NECESSARY DRAWING!!!!)

So what happens when only 5 or 6 of these redemptions are pulled and redeemed?? (if that many)

If only 5-6 get pulled, the remainder of the seats will be filled by no additional purchase necessary or other winners determined by promotions centered around this release. This is to be determined, but all seats will be filled.
BG

Where will the online tournament be? PStars? FT? Or will it be an unaffiliated site? If it is a Razor based site, what dealing software will you be using?

I believe there have been 6 redeemed to date on USA jerseys...
Unlike the other companies, our baseball jersey redemptions do NOT expire.

It will be one of the major sites.
We are currently "negotiating" this right now.

[quote="NYCrulesU":198pdrqc]Nothing impressive about this release other than the redemption for the WSOP buy-in. What's next after this flops worse than your failed attempt at baseball, Roller Derby? ::facepalm::

you have no clue, there non sport stuff has done great.

The secondary market says otherwise. Maybe I would be blind to that fact if I road the hype train too, but fortunately I don't.

Can you name one 2008 or later razor non-sport release under cost?
I can't. Because not even one is.
I highly recommend homework over guesswork.

I can tell you based on Ebay sales how many people lost their shirts on your Presidential cuts. That's a fact. So no guess work there. Pure fact. Reason? People will dish out for UD/Topps etc. They don't want some fly by night "Razor" brand. Again, fact. Try as you may, try as you might your products will continue to tank. No need to get testy because the truth is a hard pill to swallow.

Success of a product/company, in this market, is directly tied to secondary sales. Just because you ran the hype machine here and had enough of a cult-ish following that your products sold out doesn't mean squat. I can personally tell you the tons of show dealers, store owners and collectors that didn't and wouldn't buy a Razor product. They don't want them in the stores, they can't sell them at shows and they can't move them on Ebay. Resale vale = next to nothing. If you call that success then I suggest you get your head examined. Ride the wave now while you have a small following still. Eventually people will wake up and stop being suckered by the "newest thing" and realize they are just wasting their money.

With all due respect, you obviously do not know me.
If you did, as all the distributors do, you would know that I am not a fly by nighter.
ANY part of this industry I have been involved in, it has been as a market leader.

You dont have to collect our products. Many people like our brands and the value they provide. You still havent named one single non-sports box form 2008-present that weve made that is under cost. NO other company can boast this.
Do the research. Its a fact, not hype.
BG

p.s.- We didnt make Oval office packs $2700-3000. Dealers did. Factory cost was $1500. At $1500, it was a solid value.[/quote:198pdrqc]

The common collector doesn't have the opportunity to purchase boxes at "factory cost" and have to buy from dealers who mark-up the boxes based on the "factory cost" you state to be "a solid value."

To say that your product at "factory cost" is a solid value is an extremely irresponsible statement.

Companies aren't selling to the consumer, they are selling to the distributor. If the manufacturer sells out and distributors continue to buy, they have no financial reason to listen to consumers or worry about what value consumers get. Their non sport products have done very well from their point of view

You clearly missed my point (or maybe not).

For him to say that his product was a "good value" at factory cost means that it's overpriced by the time it gets to the consumer at SRP.

Most products, no matter the company that releases them, are overpriced; however, at least Topps, UD and Panini don't come on these boards, try to make a dollar out of 15 cents and force-feed it down people's throats.

I wasn't saying it to you specifically, and I understand your point. My response didn't have much to do with your post, it just happened to be the one before mine. What I can say to your post is that it doesn't matter to him if its overpriced when it gets to the consumer because there is enough demand that even if a portion of the market decides never to buy Razor they will be fine

With all respect, you miss the point. At a fair markup, Oval was a fair value. At double cost, it was only ok.

The fact that it was trading at $2750 from a $1500 factory cost should tell you how good the value was at $1500 factory cost.

In my opinion, iresponsible is coming on message boards acting like you understand "the business" portion of the industry when you obviously don't.
BG

p.s.- dont believe me??? go break some Topps UFC series 1 Boxes at $350-450 now and see how you do.
Is it a good product?
