Just read on ESPN that the Yankees are going to mostly pitch scrubs on Wednesday to rest their staff, should make things even more interesting.

Yep, they were saying on YES that Girardi said he won't pitch Robertson, Soriano, Mariano, Hughes, or Logan because he doesn't want to risk having to use them 3 out of 4 days...

Whereas, the Rays have Hellickson and Price for their last two games.

If there's a one-game playoff between them and Boston, maybe Moore?

honestly there wont be a one game playoff, the rays are going to win out, and the best case scenario for the sox is they win one of the next 2 if that

The craziest thing is the Rays haven't even been all that good in September. 15-10, I think. Just an unbelievable turn of events.

Lester and Beckett have a combined ERA of 9.33 in their last five starts. Unreal.

I've been trying to find the preseason ESPN "Expert" picks link for a while now. I think 75-80% picked the Sox. Hell, who could blame them after the cash they dropped in the off-season.

This one? I still love the White Sox over Phillies prediction.
That's it, thanked.

It's amazing looking back at that. EVERYONE picked the Sox, not a single Yankee pick for AL East even. I mean, sure the Sox had the better off season on paper at that point and who could see Colon, Garcia, and Nova bailing out the rotation for the Yanks.
