The A's just announced their 2011 promotional schedule, headlined by a Rickey Henderson bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, April 30 (his first bobblehead giveaway by the A's). I am a little surprised they didn't do the giveaway on Sunday, May 1, which is the 20th anniversary of breaking Brock's record:

For whatever reason, Beckett doesn't list the gold version. I will try to get a picture scanned and posted, but for now, envision it like the white-bordered, non-foil version ("2001 Topps Archives Future Rookie Reprints 80 11" in Beckett), but instead of the white border, there's a gold border....similar to the 2001 Topps Gold. I'll try to get a scan, but it might take me a little while.

It's been over 2 months since I tried to get a response for Henderson cards from this set, so I'm trying again (& I found another Henderson card in my trade box) ...

Just got this one in the mail this week, I think it's only my third 2006 TTT (I was on a collecting break at the time), and it was a pretty good deal, especially for being #/18:

I don't know if this has been happening to you guys, but 2 times this week I got cards from FeEbay sent to me in a PWE. One was a jersey Rickey, that ended up creased all the way through both sides, and the other was a insert, that made it, but barely. Seems sellers are using the free shipping option as you can't leave bad ratings if they use that , even if they charge you 4 bucks for a 64 cent shipper.

Scott, can you use anything I listed there? Or as I mentioned anything else ?

Just picked these up via BIN, and got them in the mail a few days ago:

These are the front and back of the 1992 LK (or "L and K" as listed in Beckett) decals. I've only seen these for sale a handful of times, and didn't expect to actually be able to add them to the collection. If anyone has any pics of the mugs, steins, cups, plates, or anything else featuring the decals, I'd love to get a copy. I'm hoping to put a post together for the blog, and I don't have any of the other items, but I want to include them in the post.

It is probably worth .50. They are pretty common.
