This one is slightly less PUMPED UP than the RED CRUSADE. But hey, it's still worthy. The 2002 Topps Chrome Black Refractor team card.

Not surprisingly this was kinda hard to find. Not only is it #/ed to 50, but because it's a team card it could be listed under the team name, the card number, or any number of star players featured therein. Thome? Ramirez? Sabathia? Alomar? Yeah. But at long last, it's home where it belongs...

The last 2 months have been pretty darn for adding to the old PC. And now a supercollector from PR is selling out. He's got some insane cards, and I will have to be selective about what I buy. If I can, that is. Lots of other Alomar collectors are snapping stuff up left and right. But I did get a handful in the mail yesterday, including some notable ones.

First on the list is this one: 1998 Pacific Aurora Pennant Fever Copper /20. Not quite the white whale that the Red Crusade was, but pretty close in my book. Here's the entire rainbow!

Ja girlies! Hear me now and believe me later! Get out of your flab hammocks and acknowledge ze pumpitude!

Steven Seagal has some work to do to recognize, you know. He has become so flabby and untalented and lame in his old age.

Wow niiiiice. 😇 No refractor lines or anything. How did I miss this one? Great whale, I guess you can now die a happy fulfilled man. (y)

Did you get a good deal?

Thanks guys!

The Crusade red auction ended up around $350. Which was an absolute bargain IMHO. As the auction ended I expected it to jump up to $400, $500, and well beyond. But it didn't and I had to rub my eyes...

Another little run I was happy to get completed (minus two 1/1's of course). The 2003 Donruss Timeless Treasures Past & Present series. Last one I needed was the "Patches" version /20.

Great deal with the way prices have been going up. Why did I sell my Mo Vaughn red a few years ago? I guess I still have the Tejada red.

So you have a full rainbow now right? How many purple/greens do you have??
