the Flames Oilers replay is on the NHL Network right now.

I forgot to mention the Flames finished the pre season a perfect 7-0. Now watch them lose their first few regular season games

Is Jose Theodore good enough to start for the Wild? I noticed the article said he'd be Backstrom's backup in Minnesota.

Brenden Morrison is a Calgary Flame. 1 year, 750K 1 way deal.

This is a great deal for the Flames. Morrison just wasn't what the Canucks needed this year (they needed a fourth line centre with more size and grit) but the flames have lost 2 of their centres so needed someone like Mo and he has a lot left in the tank so will be a very good fit with the Flames. Although it will be very weird to see him in a Flames jersey.

Keep your thoughts to yourself, Nuck fan  (Any baseball pickups lately, Jared?)

He was on the radio this afternoon, and he said the trainer asked what number he would like, 8 or 11, and his kids were in the car with him so they decided on 8

I think he'll be a good fit in the short term. This hurts Conroy and his 2 way deal....he could be sent down. I'd like to see Conny on the 4th, and he can still in draws.

Mo is your most hated of all time? :D

I really think you will be happy he is on your team. He is a great team guy and can kill penalties, play the point on the power play, he can be a skilled forward or can play a good two way game. For $750K you can't go wrong.

He's going to start 2nd line center on Thursday, barring any returns from the plethora of injured centermen.
