My mother in-law got me a fitted Packers hat. That alone is winning, not to mention the other goodies. I had a few pissed off relatives on my mom's side because I left after two hours not wanting my asthmatic daughter and immunocompromised son hanging out in secondhand smoke for long. That's a #fail right there. Russell Wilson gave me an indirect present with beat down of the 49ers on national TV allowing a further surge in card prices. I have a few 9.5s to get on eBay, a handful at BGS, and a dozen heading that way. After 40 job applications across 23 different states, still not even a job interview. Football card profit remains my primary source of income. I'm already studying up on the 2013 Draft which makes NCAA Toilet Bowl season worth watching for me.

Well, I bought a box of 2011 UD College Legends from BO's black friday sale, and open it yesterday. I did beat the odds as I got 4 autos instead of 3, but the autos were facking horrible.

Lee Roy Jordan....who?
Craig Morton....heard of him but his autos are CHEAP
Pat Devlin....why is this bum even in here???
Jason White....who I facking hate because he won the Heisman instead of Larry Fitz

This is a prime example of why I rarely buy boxes. I think I was more excited when I pulled the Marino & Dorsett base cards.

How sad is it that a guy who won the Heisman has an autograph card that sells for around $5....****, I hate that guy!!!!!!

Just found out one of the Chrome boxes we sold at the shop a coupla weeks ago got the guy a Griffin Prism auto. Came back a 9.5 w/ 10 auto from BGS...

I have a Hornung like it. I was wondering the same thing when I found mine, but they are listed in Beckett and all the cards from that set are numbered that way...

Saw a nice hoops Pull out of that red hot Panini Prizm stuff. Gold Jared Salinger #7/10 (jersey #). They go for about $100ish or so.

Based on what I've seen, I can recommend that product IF you can find it. Probably the best New Release since Chrome FT.

Remember how I used to annoy you guys with my customs? Well, I've decided to shift gears and do 4x6 instead of cards since I can print them easily myself. I decided to just start from scratch for "Magnetpieces : A Tribute to UD Masterpieces". Viola.

Well, RR has always maintained that bigger is better!

What makes printing the 4x6"s easier? Just better detail? Just wondering...

Haha.

Basically just the fact that you can pick up a pack of 4x6 photo paper already cut. You can't get 2.5x3.5 paper (not to mention it would be too small for a regular house printer to feed). I'm terrible with cutting things, so they look terrible if I try to print on larger paper and trim it down to card size.

If I had print shop level stuff to print and machine cut cards, I'd do it. The only way I'm getting good looking custom cards is if I pay a printer to do them. I'm only going to do that when I need some jersey cards made up.

Gonna be upgrading all of my mem cards to the new gold design. Also found a better way to do the canvas effect yet keep the picture fairly clear.
