about these. Guy is making custom cards and selling them as Topps brand. I know UD flipped out on BMB a while ago about just custom cards in jpg form in sigs.

Not necessarily. You can have Topps make custom cards in classic designs for you. This may be one of those.

I really doubt they would print pro player cards with that

Awhile back an Ebay seller had a S.Strasburg Topps "Custom" & they even serial numbered it to #d/5 (the guy "supposedly" had it autographed in-person), so it was an Auto'd S.Strasburg from Topps! :? I was confused at the time as I never had heard of Topps "Custom" card's back then (heck, I was going to buy the Stras thinking it was some rare promo...Luckily I checked on the board's & someone had already posted about it)!
