High BIN's were there only thing available then. So people paid the price. There is no shortage of Profar autos available for auction so the price lowers. He is still a year away from the bigs. His prices will rise again.
I think he may be an effective regular but not a star(if he ever was one to begin with). Boston was a weird fit for him anyway. A lot of his value come from being a well above average LF'er. His range is totally negated by the Green Monster. If his legs are gone...then he is ...:???:

I have always liked his glove. His bat is really suprising me. Hobby wise the only thing that scares me about him is where he ends up. I doubt he ever plays 3B for the Rangers. He could end up in a hobby waste land.
I would say Andrus is the one going. Boras is his agent and it will take a ton to keep him off the free agent market. Moving Kinsler or Profar to the OF makes very little sense. Both play excellent defense for their positions and their bats profile well for the middle infield. You can only have...
Is this the year that he hits 20+ HR's that a lot of people say he is capable of or the fall off of a great career?
I think he is just about done and the team is desperate.
I am not as enamored with the Philadelphia as you. That lineup has some big questions in it. The Yankees are scary if they remain healthy and they have shown they can go buy any parts they might need mid-season.
I don't consider Alfaro to be under the radar anymore. He is pretty well known by now. He is very raw but has one of the highest ceilings in the system along with Akins.
Matt West is a bit of a hot head but I think that will settle down the closer Arlington gets in his sights.
That Luke...
I thought I would throw out a few prospects I am expecting to have a big year in 2012. Please share your thoughts about these prospects or any under the radar prospects from your favorite team.

Don't think Fielder will end up in Texas but I hope Leonys Martin steps up this spring and moves Hamilton to left. Signing Fielder would mean Hamilton would be gone after next year.
Huge risk but Darvish doesn't fit the traditional mold of Asian import pitcher(size, repertoire) so hopefully it works out. Really weird seeing the Rangers play with the big boys in the payroll department.
Improving the bullpen has shown lately to be one of the cheapest ways to quickly improve a team but its really hit or miss. Have to give the Royals credit for trying. Giving 9 million to Bruce Chen.... :?
