I've worked with BGS regularly for years now and can tell you that BG's story adds up and allstars doesn't. It's that simple.

Come on, cant we read between the lines here. You have graded correct. They make you fill out a form ok they dont make some bigger submitters fill out forms. I havent filled a form out in years. I sign a form and put my name or the bgs rep does. When your subbing 1000's of cards at different times during a show you are gonna sign your name here and there and some other quick notes on sub forms. Why is what BG is saying taking so literally. How many of us who buy and sell a ton have had bad cards go thru us. I and others do their best to weed that crap out but on Brians scale a few are gonna slip thru. Its gonna happen. People are acting like he got caught red handed doing dirty work. Some people just wanna shake the cage here. He destroyed the card. If I or others here pm'ed Brian telling him a card he had was a fake he wouldnt debate it he would XXXX can the card.

He stated he never filled out submission forms. False statement posted. So if the card was rejected by Beckett, why was the card listed for sale? Just because it didn't make the minimum grade?

If he bought this card in person as stated, he probably has bought identical autograph cards and should have seen the discrepancy. I'm not buying his excuse.

My $.02, all eBay needs is a handful of "buyers" to report the auction and eBay will pull it. IMO there does not have to be proof from the buyers standpoint, but the "seller" would have to prove otherwise to be able to relist it.

When someones rep is called into question sometimes betting is a good way to separate the men from the boys. Seems like that is the case here. Some people flap their gums and get called out on it then silence.

...I heard that Dr. James Beckett lost a bet to Mr. Gray and he owns BGS now.

I don't believe I accused him of anything in this particular thread. I just asked if the same employee who was responsible for the previous debacle was responsible for not reviewing the rationale behind not grading this card.

I am not taking a shot a Brian here but Topps has corrected a Gehrig GU and a Ruth autograph that was wrongly authenticated by PSA.

I'm discussing things with my rep at BGS, and apparently BG drops off boxes to them without filling in submission forms. And apparently BGS gives cards that don't make the grade back to BG without explaining why. So basically BG won't be able to prove that he submitted the card to BGS or not. So, unless BG produces the auction in which he purchased the card, complete with a photo of the bogus signature on it, it's his word against (most of) the world's.

I find it ironic that a thread started in the hopes of discrediting Brian as only served to expose other(s) as degenerates.

I also find it suspect that someone would go so far as to take counsil with a BGS rep to get clairification for something that was already spoken for, then feel free to spread the interworkings of anothers business practices on the forums like it is ok.
