Got a nice card in the mail today. Bold auto, really neat. Paid 90dlvd...thought they sold for more at one time, but i could be thinking a different year. Either way, I am happy

Can some one tell me about this card, hand numbering, how to tell if authentic? Should there be a COA?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... SS:US:1123

Thanks
S Brinn

Interesting, 3 votes for fake.
I had a very long communication with a very nice seller who actually "put down" the card but explained it this way.

She said THIS CARD was an exchange for redeption cards which UD had not honored for over a year, and this was their attempt at sending a replacement for the other card. She said (even tho she's selling it) she thought it completely stupid and that UD just wanted to "use up stickers of autos" and created this card to exchange for several redemption cards not supplied. It sounds logical and I'm not buying the card but she sounded very honest and took a lot of time to explain. Also her assessment of the card being poor, made it more beievable. I explained to her without UD also supplying a COA, that probably any higher end buyer would not buy it as it could not be resold.

It would explain why there have been many as there are probably 24 in all which were sent out as "replacements".

ALSO, HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN A FAKE STICKER CARD?

HOLY shat

I thought 60.00 tops

I sure was hoping for $60 but didn't turn out that way. There are a set of these /5 dual sweet threads and I haven't looked it up but I have 2 with Griffey and another player. I'd like to get the rest if there are more with Griffey. Its funny how some patch cards are so popular that they out price autos and even some auto patches.

BY THE WAY- I LOVE PATCHES WITH THE LITTLE REDS BASEBALL GUY (FACE ON A BASEBALL WITH LITTLE LEGS- ? "MR RED). IF ANYONE HAS ANY LOGO PATCHES WITH THIS LITTLE GUY ON THE CARD, I WILL GLADLY TRADE YOU A CARD OF GREATER VALUE TO GET IT.

THANKS

Make sure you do some research on Mr Red logos though. They are used to fake alot of Reds patches because they are so cool.

Anyone have any idea what this is,
[ebay:jl40hg89]160387612038[/ebay:jl40hg89]

Seems to be a card inserted into a holder with a piece of jersey. Wonder who makes them and if they are authentic.

You can find them at some Wal-Mart/Target/etc stores.

I'm not certain if they are authentic but I might have heard that the back offers some authentication by UD or another company, can't remember for certain.

How does one research Mr Red Logos? Many Logo cards have many different logos in the set and there is no place I know of that shows whether given card # was released with Mr Red Logo or any other logo patch?
