CSNPhilly.com is now reporting that the Jays will receive Drabek, Taylor, D'Arnaud, and a Seattle prospect. That would be nice.

Saunders and Aumont are both Canucks, right?> Can we just have them both? Sanders has underachieved pretty epically. Same with Nick Weiglarz.. If only Cleveland had shipped him over to Philly too. We could've just gotten every Canadian out there.

I'd much rather have 'good' players than Canadian ones. Saunders doesn't excite me.

If we can get Drabek, Taylor and D'Arnaud form the Phills..Which looks like is happening then we get Triunfel from the M's I would be beyond excited and why not throw Aumont in there too hahaha

What about Bedard? M's can still sign him.

No need now. You've already got two solid lefties (Lee and RRS), and you've already got a fairly deep rotation. You figure that rotation listed above does not even include Silva (for whatever that's worth) and French.

I see no need to waste $4-8M on a Bedard knowing he can't stay healthy and is never willing to throw more than 100 pitches a game.

I feel like everyone is just making up which prospects they would like to be included in the deal so a lot of false reports are getting out there. Like everyone else, I am very interested to see who ends up with the Jays. Regardless, I feel that Seattle will ultimately be the winners in this deal. Just my opinion.

8:26pm: Check that. Aumont is in the deal, but heading to the Phillies rather than the Jays, says Elliott (via Twitter).

7:51pm: Elliott says (via Twitter) that Drabek is in the deal, but Aumont is not.

7:11pm: M's shortstop prospect Carlos Triunifel could be in the deal in place of Saunders, tweets Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com.

7:04pm: Drabek and "other top [Phillies] prospects" will be involved in the deal, according to Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com (via Twitter). According to Salisbury, Brown will remain with the club.

Wait, if the Phillies are getting prospects I must be missing something, what will the BlueJays be getting in return?

I see the Phillies winning this one. I can't wait to see Roy Halladay's line next year. 25 wins isn't out of the question as deep as he goes constantly.

You have to look at it like this....The Mariners are sending prospects for Cliff Lee....the Phillies, in turn, send a couple of their guys and 1 or 2 of the guys they got from Seattle for Doc. That is the whole reason Seattle is in this trade to "boost" the prospect package for Toronto.

Happ is a number three at best, that performed way over his head due to friendly periphs.

Every team needs hardworkers like Happ, but no team should go out of their way to acquire him.

Why pay full price on someone coming off a single great year? Oh yah, that's what the blue jays do.

One Mariner prospect headed to Philly would be 21-year-old outfielder Tyson Gilles, writes Stark in his latest update..

What? The M's players will be going to Philly only?

Who is Toronto getting.
