Why do you or anyone else care?
This thread was made by ITG to show the upcoming product. It wasn't to ask for checklist help, design help, legal help, or anything else. It was a positive thread to show a positive prospect product, after a negative storm of Topps crap keeps hitting the hobby.
Did you ever think that if they release some press material, MLBPA doesn't see it? Of course they see it and they likely contact any company to get any issues fixed before the product comes out.
Why must everything be about legalities, suits, and trying to shoot down a company? Leave that to the lawyers hired by MLB/MILB and enjoy the damn hobby!
Because it's my money, Adam. I'm not offering any help to them. But if I buy this product, I want to know that it's not going to be recalled or that there will be future products. One and done aren't really well received in this hobby. See 2008 Razor...
Everyone was on your side and against me when Razor debuted. Everyone came on over shortly after release. I am hoping that doesn't happen again. I'm hoping there are no "sides". I just want to see how things shake out.
"They know what they're doing", right?
I'm not saying anything about suits. I just want to know if they have licensing, since they're displaying minor league logos, and the info I've heard indicates that they're including major league team names and cities on the back of the card. I'd like to know whether or not there is licencing before I plunk down money on a lemon.
Success in one sport does not necessarily indicate that there will be success across the board.
