chas---that is what I thought too, but the more I keep looking at it the more it looks like it is a button hole and the card is creased, lol, so me thinks my eyes are just playing tricks on me.....I figured it would go way more than it did, so really either way I am happy, as long as the card really isnt creased that is.

I'm not seeing a crease, I don't think. If you are talking about the white lines under the swatch, I think thats a design element.

BU is indeed Boston University. They are the only University in America with a dedicated undergraduate Archaeology program, they are quite a big deal and so is the journal. No worries, my submission only needs to be 40 pages, of which I have 15
Good luck there George. :? I couldn't write 4 pages.

Congrats on the symposium and good luck with your writing!

Anybody know how rare 1964 Bazooka stamps are? Can probably answer my own question since
I have only found 1 copy for sale of the one I'm looking for.

But does anybody know enough about them to tell me if $13 dlvd for a PSA 8 is a good price?

Also, is $16 dlvd for a 1964 Venezuelan (VG) a good price?

There have to be more book recommendations out there. C'mon guys!
I wish I had spare time to read books. I have about twenty-five that I've picked up, but my work keeps me very busy.

A trucker that doesn't listen to books on tape? What beast is this?

Oh no. You must be one of them that listens to political radio all day then walks into gas stations ranting to random strangers!

I had a feeling, considering I've never seen nor heard of one before. I don't even know what made me do a Yahoo search for it today.
Talked to the guy over the phone. They rate it as VG, with minor corner wear and 1 small corner crease, with a clean back.

Ballpark, what does an average 64 Venezuelan of a non-star player go for?

Hard to say but they aren't super easy to find. I'm sure there are other members with more experience with this set that can tell you.

I'll make a thread on the main board when it arrives. I'm pretty sure I remember bouwob paying a pretty penny for the Ryan he found.

I often wonder what makes pretty pennies more valuable than ugly ones.

Venezuelan's are hard to find, especially in decent condition. Ted has a 67 Venezuelan and it does not come around very often. 707 has a PSA 1 for $380 or BO and I've never made a move on it.

I think you did well for on a 64 for $14. Your guy I presume?
