Let stuff pile up again...


These 2004 SP Game Used Patch Tim Hudson cards showed up for auction and I set snipes figuring I might win one or two...I won all of them, for surprisingly low prices ranging from $2 to $15 for the signed one. Even the jersey # 15/15 one was only 7 bucks.


Some other older stuff...tough to see but the Zito jumbo jersey is 01/10, furthering my quest for all 2005 Reflections A's cards. The Canseco is a 1991 Donruss Preview card, a little tough to find. Fingers is 28/74, missing one card to finish off that team set.


More random stuff in pursuit of team sets. The Leaf Green cards are all /25.


Very recent stuff. Still need to pick up a Mulder auto out of 2023 Ginter.


Team set completers: 2016 Stadium Club Gold, 2017 Gypsy Queen Green (which includes a McGwire SP/99), and 2009 Topps Wal-Mart Black.


Lastly, a 2012 Topps Silk Eric Chavez 33/50...OMG RARE 1/1 BACKWARDS VERSION!!!!!!!!1111111111 Can't recall seeing one like this before. Not that I care, I just wanted the card and didn't notice until I got it that some doofus put it in backwards.

2003 Upper Deck 40-Man Rainbow #877 Hideki Matsui NR /40 -- This concludes the month of Matsui. I like the rainbow foil and simple pinstripe design. Not many more of his rookies I am actively chasing.

1998 Bowman's Best Refractor #183 Orlando Hernandez RC #d 26/400 -- Probably overpaid a bit, but I couldn't pass up a rookie card serial numbered to his jersey number.




1998 Leaf Rookies and Stars Orlando Hernandez RC Holographic Longevity Parallel 1/1 - My other El Duque rookie which I picked up back in March. Couldn't imagine I'd stumble across two huge rookies 25 years after release. The foiling is in rough shape, but still a 1/1 rookie from 1998!

Was going to have to return the Aparicio I got yesterday when I noticed it had previous water damage. I reached out to the seller, indicating I was initiating a refund, but would be willing to keep the card at a reduced price. They offered 50% off, so I bit. Keeping in, damage and all.

Today brings another Oriole, Brooks, to accompany it.

This also arrived after 3 weeks via Standard trading card shipping, after the tracking stopped updating on 10/18. I swear that service is getting less reliable. Hate to see that, because it was such a good idea. Too many long lost packages though, puts sellers at a disadvantage. I reached out to the seller and asked for PP address, so I could "re-pay" for it, as I literally had given up hope yesterday and the seller issued me a refund last night. Murphy's Law at full speed here.
