2002 Fleer Triple Play Season Crown Triple GU Ichiro/Giambi/I-Rod 064/100. 2012 Bowman Draft Orange Matt Olson 058/250, I believe that completes the entire run of A's Bowman Orange parallels back when they were /250, 2007 through 2014. Lastly a 1999 Skybox Thunder Rave Walt Weiss 042/150, because I collect some non-A's Weiss stuff.

2005 Reflections Fabric Auto Patch Bobby Crosby 38/50. Slowly working my way towards a non-1/1 A's master set from 2005 Reflections, one of my favorite sets of all time.

Matt Olson gets me current through 2021 on all base Elite Extra A's autos. McGwire is a 2021 Topps '86 All-Star Platinum Anniversary 32/70. Piscotty finishes up the 2019 Allen & Ginter Mini Black team set. Still a ways off from 2021 Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor and 2021 Topps Black team sets but the pair on the bottom help.

Some Pacific stuff! Still have 5 to go for 1999 Paramount Platinum Blue and 2 left for the Opening Day team set. 3 to go for 2000 Pacific Emerald.

022023-4.jpg
Jason Giambi Pacific parallels: 2001 Hobby LTD 10/70, 1999 Invincible Platinum Blue 03/67, and 1999 Omega Platinum Blue 01/75!

022023-5.jpg
Two each for 2002 Fleer Fall Classic Gold/50 and 2001 Fleer Triple Crown Green - the Grieve is 024/104 and the Stairs is 38/81. Not sure why some of the cards in the Fall Classic set are missing the gold name plate.

022023-6.jpg
Some cards to complete two team sets: 2005 Leaf Century Post Marks Gold/50 and 2005 Playoff Prestige Xtra Bases Purple/100. The Zito is 01/50.

Super excited about the Coghlan. I sold the same Stanton last year during my weird 3-month comic book obsession and immediately regretted it. Glad I got this one to take its place

My Jazz collection has now ballooned to…4 cards lol. Really glad Topps finally added an aqua parallel.

2023 Topps Nestor Cortes 1988 Topps Autograph -- Digging the design this year, I like how the pictures are different even between the 1988 insert and autograph. I was after the autograph, it's his first on-card auto. The other two are bonus.

Have a similar 1987 David Cone auto from last year and an 1982 Joe Archives autograph. Topps started to issue 35th anniversary design reprints starting with 1983 set. I may have to see if I can complete the 1980s run. Can't be too hard, but would make for a cool display.

1999 UD Retro Inkredible Paul O'Neill Auto -- One of the easiest O'Neill autos perhaps, was just patiently waiting for the right price.

A couple more from 2005 Reflections:

022223.jpg
2005 Reflections Dual Signatures Platinum 1/1 Bobby Crosby/Jason Bay and Cut from the Same Cloth Dual Patch Auto 12/25 Bobby Crosby/Jason Bay. The 1/1 completes the rainbow for that card, going along with the unnumbered base version, Red/99, and Blue/35. It's actually my third card from that Platinum 1/1 set, I also have the Rich Harden/Merkin Valdez and Joe Blanton/Scott Kazmir cards:

My first 2023 card, a 2023 Topps '88 Autograph Dave Stewart. 2022 Topps Update Memorial Day Camo Stephen Vogt 06/25 and a 2022 Bowman Chrome Prospect Purple Refractor Auto CJ Rodriguez 159/250 as well.

That's my third Dave Stewart autograph on an '88 Topps design - of course I have the original 1988 Topps card signed, and his 2004 Fan Favorites Autograph used the '88 design.

1998 Topps Chrome Refractor Jose Canseco completes the team set. More importantly it completes the entire run of 1990's A's base parallel refractors from every Topps set! Finest, Bowman's Best, Topps Chrome, and Bowman Chrome. That's not counting insert parallel refractors and base parallel non-regular refractors...I do still need some 1997 Finest Embossed Refractors, 1999 Bowman Chrome International Refractors, plenty of 1998-99 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractors, and a lone common 1998 Finest No-Protector Refractor. But completing the regular refractors is no small feat considering it means all 1993-95 Finest Refractors, 1996-97 Finest Silver & Gold Refractors, and 1996 Topps Chrome Refractors (including Henderson & McGwire). The '00s aren't quite complete yet, I'm missing a common from 2000 Bowman Chrome, a few from 2001 Topps Chrome, and one from 2004 Pristine.

Not as exciting. 2022 Bowman Chrome Rookie Blue Refractor Auto Kevin Smith 009/150. 2002 Donruss Fan Club Credits Tim Hudson 041/100 - I'm still quite a ways from completing this team set, I believe this was a retail-only release and that always makes it difficult. I completed the similar Spotlight/100 set from the hobby 2002 Best of Fan Club a while ago. 2002 UD Ballpark Idols Bronze/100 Mulder and Dye - 2 away from the team set but one is David Justice, who is always tough.

As somebody who is so crazy about 1988 Topps that I'm less than 20 cards away from a full signed set, you knew I was going to really go after these 2023 Topps '88 Topps cards. Of course I'm trying for any and all of the A's base, GU, autos, parallels etc. but also I wanted to get a complete 100-card set plus the subsequent stuff from Series 2 and Update. I found a big 190-card lot to use as a "starter set" and it surprisingly wasn't cherry-picked other than not having a Rutschman. I got multiples of Trout, Ohtani, Judge, and most importantly the three A's in the set above. Ended up only 15 cards short of a set, which was better than I expected from a random lot. If anybody else is trying for this set and has doubles to trade shoot me a PM, I've got a big pile of extras.
