Do what makes you happy, but for me I've found having a lot of nice cards brings me more happiness than one high dollar card. So thats why I've been picking up $30-$40 rookies and $40-$50 autos instead of a few multi hundred cards.
Yeah, First_Class_Card_Guys are great guys. Bought about $150 worth of stuff from them at the National and they were very nice and easy to deal with. Also bought a few cards from them on Ebay, fast shipping and zero problems.
Funny... I have to say I am not a huge fan of the card's design. Little surprised at how many really like it. Isn't it interesting to see what others think in comparison with your expectations?
Awesome card though, I like the cuts that also have a swatch as well. And, well, it's Jackie...
Panini took it over, so there will still be DEEE in 2010. Check it out.

As for products, go with what you like. DEEE and Bowman Chrome seem to be very popular every year, and are kind of fun because you might have to wait years for the...
First case is about $1700... second $500 to $600+ depending on if the Woods has quad 10's or not. Not going to make money overall but a very respectable return... I like how you don't even mention the Ovie, a 4 figure card.
Though I will agree, hand collated cases shouldn't have dupes. And...
Just curious to see if anyone has seen or heard of the Felix Doubront non-auto superfractor... I know the auto super is owned by an FCB'er. Any news would be appreciated.
Thanks
Enough already, three posts and three less than subtle shots at BGS. We get it.
And although the card's grade does come first for me, I'd rather have a clean slab than a scratched one. That slab renew sounds promising.
Wow.... that's ridiculous. I could see raising the BIN then offering a little lower than the old one. Might think it looks like you are getting a better deal. But that.... some people are just plain crazy. :?
Maxpower, I agree with you completely. The chance of me pulling something I would love to keep is pretty good in this product, where as in the average box... not so much. And if I do want to move a card from rookie retro, they are all well-known cards that have established values and demand...
Cool... I don't sell much on Ebay but I keep hearing how horrible it is for sellers. Glad to hear there are at least a few little things to protect them.
Is it possible the small difference in width is from bowing? Chrome normally has a curve from top to bottom but maybe this time there is a fair amount side to side? This would make the card appear more narrow than it really is...
Re: July FCB Group Submission - GRADES POSTED
As for the printing plates, do they grade them? I thought I heard they also case them authentic due to grading complications.... for example how do you grade surface on a printing plate that has ink all over it? I could be wrong, I just thought...
Wow that seems cheap for a 1/1 game-used letter... mind sharing a ballpark on what you paid for the others? That'd be sick if you could complete it, I will keep an eye out for ya.
How does this show compare to the National? In terms of modern cards in particular.... I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the selection in Baltimore this year.
You kind of answered yourself here.... the majority of cards in the 90's and early 00's were not Chrome, and most of the cards being graded were not. Nowadays, the majority of numbers being thrown around here are for Chrome cards. Hence, Chrome is easier to gem so it seems like they have...
Which would you rather have in your city.... a $1.5b skyscraper (the world's tallest building) that has a hotel, apartments, and office space; or a $2.4b stadium?

Seems like the Burj Khalifa should have cost much more than it did, I would...
I do.... I am currently trying to complete the base through blue rainbows for 2010 Bowman of Iglesias, Rizzo, Doubront, and Brentz. And I have a gem auto of each of those guys that will be staying in the PC, regardless of how well they do. I am new to prospecting (usually collect HOF) but I...
2010 TTT- 183$
2009 UD Ultimate Collection- 141$
2008 UD Premier Basebal- 213$
2010 Donruss Elite Edition- 84$
2009 Bowman Draft Picks - 83$
Total: $704. It is option 1 with DEEE and 09 DPP x1 instead of Sterling... which is a horrible product for the money IMO.
